Patnitop is situated at the height of 2024 meters above sea level and just 110 kilometers away from the Jammu and Kashmir. Patnitop is a lovely hill station with full of lush green landscapes and surrounded by dense forest. Patnitop hill stations are getting developed by the trekking and all these kind of winter and adventurous sports point of view. There are three, gushing, ice-cold freshwater springs in the Patnitop hill stations area, which are said to have medicinal properties. The Naag (cobra) temple : The pride of Patnitop is its 600-year-old Naag (cobra) temple. Though small in size, it reflects the faith and reverence shared by millions of Indians all over. The evenings in Patnitop are quite cold. The mountains are covered by fog and visibility can drop to a mere 10 feet. The peak season is during the summer, though end July to August is beautiful and not crowded.

Sudh Mahadev : Sudh Mahadev is an important pilgrimage in the area. Sudh Mahadev is well known for its archaeological importance as a charming natural site. It stands on the banks of the holy Dewak River, held by some to be as sacred as the Ganges. Other temples in the city include the Gauri Kund temple, Shiva temple, Peer Khoh Cave temple, Ranbireshwar temple and the Parmandal temple complex.

Vaishno Devi : It is located 61 km north of Jammu at a height of 5,200 feet above the sea level in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. In the cave there are images of three deities viz. the Mahakali, Mahalakshmi and Mahasaraswati.

Bahu Fort Temple : Situated on a rock face on the left bank of the river Tawi,this is perhaps the oldest fort and edifice in the city of Jammu.
